In the hand-built motorcycle community, there is no bigger name than Revival Cycles. Founded by artistic designer Alan Stulberg and master mechanical engineer Stefan Hertal, the Austin-based shop specializes in hand-built motorcycles and consciously curated motorcycle gear and accessories.
Their team of designers and builders is responsible for some of the top restoration and custom projects. Each year, Revival hosts the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin, which exhibits the best of the custom motorcycling community in an inclusive environment. 2017 marks Revival’s second year building for Rebels Uncaged, Rebel Yell’s custom motorcycle contest.
Revival’s build for this year is a 1999 Ducati named Odioso, which means “obnoxious” in Italian. It is one of the world’s first Ducati sidecar-cross bikes ever built, and it’s topped off with a 1980s-themed paint scheme.
